Kilali Latter

High School Student

My name is Kilali Latter. I am currently attending The Post Oak High School in Houston, Texas as a member of the class of 2023. In my Integrated History and Social Science class, we had to do something called a challenge project. For the first part of the challenge project, we wrote an essay on an issue in our community or country. The topic I chose was Healthcare in the United States of America. Now healthcare is a very big topic so I decided to mainly focus on the financial parts of it in my research. For the second part of the project, we had to engage in the issue we chose. We conducted interview with experts and people involved in our issue and we had to do a project to share information about the topic or engage with it directly. I made this website for my engagement project as a way to share it with people in my community as well as others in the United States.
